Vantage

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-11.

This Privacy Policy describes what information Vantage collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Vantage website, account dashboard, and related Services.

1. What we collect

We collect only what we need to deliver the Services.

  • Account data. Your email address, a hashed password, account creation time, and the Discord username you provide for license delivery and support.
  • Order data. Products and tiers you purchase, prices, timestamps, payment method, processor reference IDs, and any custom checkout fields (such as the Discord handle the product requires).
  • License data. License keys assigned to your account, the hardware identifier when the software reports one, expiry, and activation status.
  • Support data. Subject, messages, attachments, and metadata for any support ticket you open, plus the email or guest session used to open it.
  • Technical data. IP address, user agent, approximate location derived from IP, and basic event logs needed for fraud prevention, rate limiting, and debugging.
  • Cookies. A first-party session cookie used to keep you signed in, plus short-lived cookies for CSRF protection. We do not use advertising cookies.

We do not collect payment card data. Crypto and voucher payments are handled by the processors listed below.

2. How we use it

  • To create and operate your account.
  • To process orders and deliver license keys.
  • To send transactional emails about your orders, licenses, and support tickets.
  • To detect fraud, abuse, chargeback risk, and key sharing.
  • To improve the site and fix bugs.
  • To comply with legal obligations such as tax record keeping.

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use your data to train external AI models.

3. Sharing with third parties

We share the minimum necessary data with the following categories of processors:

  • Payment processors. NOWPayments for cryptocurrency, and the Paysafecard voucher processor. They receive the order amount, currency, and a reference ID. Crypto transactions are recorded on a public blockchain by their nature.
  • Email provider. A transactional email service used to send order, license, and support notifications. They receive recipient address and message body.
  • Discord. When a product or support flow requires it, we may post to Discord using your provided username or via a webhook to our staff channel. Discord receives whatever data is necessary to deliver the message.
  • Hosting and infrastructure. Our hosting and database providers store the data described above on our behalf.

We may disclose data if required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Vantage, our users, or the public.

4. International transfers

The Services may be operated from, and data may be processed in, jurisdictions other than your own. By using the Services you understand that your data may be transferred internationally with appropriate safeguards.

5. Retention

  • Account and order records are retained while your account is active and for as long as we are required to keep them for tax, accounting, anti-fraud, and dispute purposes.
  • Support tickets are retained for up to 24 months after the last reply, then archived or deleted.
  • Sign-in and rate-limit logs are typically retained for up to 90 days.

You can request earlier deletion through the support page, subject to our legal retention obligations.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, restrict, or delete the personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. You can exercise these rights by opening a ticket on the support page from the email address tied to your account.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

7. Security

We hash passwords, encrypt secret settings and selected sensitive fields at rest, use HTTPS for all transport, and restrict admin access to authorized staff. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

8. Children

The Services are not directed to children. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. If we learn we have collected data from a child below that age we will delete it.

9. Do Not Track and similar signals

We do not currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals because there is no industry standard for how to honor them in a consistent way. We do not use cross-site tracking or advertising profiles.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be announced on the account dashboard or by email.

11. Contact

Privacy questions, deletion requests, and data subject requests can be sent through the support page.
